Referencing the active and passive relationships between nature, infrastructure and mankind: The various hues, moods, textures and architecture (or lack thereof) stirred up a blend of experiences and cathartic documentation of ideas. These encounters serve as an armature of these works and become visual concepts that expound upon the contradictions, priorities and vanities of the human condition; community and commodity, the conspicuous and the obscure, the natural and the supernatural, love and hate. 

Drawing textures and palettes from my encounters with these natural, urban and rural occurrences, I gravitate towards pungent, earthy and moody hues and tasteful splashes of saturation while seeking to evoke an uncanny mixture of spirituality, melancholiness, and a childlike wonder or optimism.
